FAQs

Q1. Why do I need a ghostwriter?
Ans.   Did you know that a large percentage of ebooks, bestselling books, and other info-products are written by ghostwriters rather than the author? The most knowledgeable experts on any subject rarely have the time, skills, or discipline to write a book on their own. Yet, they would like to share their expertise with a wider audience. A ghostwriter will write, research, edit, and/or coach you until your product is ready to sell—helping you overcome any obstacles on your way to success. A book ghostwriter may also serve as your partner and accountability coach—keeping you on track until the last word is written, managing your project from the germ of an idea to the gem of a finished product to your meteoric rise on the Amazon bestseller list. The talented, experienced team at WritersWay will help you pull the ideas and wisdom out of your head and onto the page, so you can effectively, efficiently, and expertly turn your ideas into info-products.

Q2. How can I find a good ghostwriter?
Ans.  Since you will be in a relationship with your ghostwriter anywhere from 3 to 12 months, you want someone you feel comfortable with—someone you know, like, and trust. So first ask for a referral from people you respect who have had a good experience using the services of a professional writer. If you can’t find one that way, do an Internet search varying your keywords, such as ghostwriting, freelance ghostwriter, book ghost writer, etc. Visit the writers’ websites and see how you feel about them, based on their website content and bios. Read their testimonials and contact some of their clients. Then e-mail the top three to set up a phone consultation. Notice how responsive and reliable they are. Ask as many questions as you need to determine if you are compatible, and get some samples and a proposal of costs, services, policies, and timelines. Make sure there’s a refund option if it doesn’t work out.

Q3. What is the ghostwriting process?
Ans.  After the estimate is accepted, a contract is signed, and the initial meeting or phone call is scheduled to discuss the scope of the project, the author’s goals, and the ghostwriter’s level of participation—after which timelines are set up. We may decide to talk on the phone once a week, or have an e-mail check in on a regular basis. The content for the book may be made available to the ghostwriter through your notes, previous documents (like website or articles), rough draft, transcripts, audiotapes, phone interviews, or additional research. At WritersWay, our job is to gather all necessary content—whether on paper or in your head—and weave it seamlessly into your finished book, that sounds like you wrote it! All of our services are totally customized to fit your needs.

Q4. How are fees determined?
Ans.  Estimates are prepared based on the length of the book, the amount of available content provided by the author, and other details concerning the project. The ghostwriter requires a deposit to begin the project, and payment terms are set up to fit your needs. However, the relationship between the ghostwriter and author is primary. At WritersWay, we are committed to helping you achieve your dream of having a book or other info-product written and produced. Everything else can be negotiated to mutual benefit.

Q5. What would you suggest is the best way to get started?
Ans.   It depends what your goals are, but if you want to build passive profits through info-products, we would first discuss your product funnel, that is what products would you like to start with and what products do you ultimately want to have. We can start with an e-book, then add some audios, then create a workbook or manual, and perhaps a teleclass or webinar series. Then you may want to develop an e-course as well as a companion live seminar. Start small and keep building your product line. We’re here to help all the way from idea to info-product to massive success!

Q6. What other services do you offer besides ghostwriting and copyediting?
Ans.  Along with our joint venture partners, we offer webinars and classes to teach you how to create and sell your own infoproducts. We have free introductory webinars and teleclasses. To stay current on our educational offerings, check back often and subscriber to our mailing list.

"When it comes to outsourcing, I trust Andrea Glass unconditionally with articles that need to be written for my coaching clients. Andrea is smart, well-read, and up on the latest tools for better living (think health, metaphysics, technology - all the things people who are looking to improve want to know more about). She writes quickly, includes important details, and her writing is both imaginative and energizing. Frankly, I trust very few writers to hand me back a perfect draft - but Andrea is the exception. I'm proud to know her and to be the recipient of her bountiful talents."
